This year I saw lots of “2023 wrapped” types of content, following Spotify’s wave. While my numbers are still pretty uninteresting this year (though it might be worth doing a little comparison in 2024 if you are interested!) and I’d rather skip any auto-celebrative stuff, I’m still glad to say that I started this newsletter because it allows me to reflect more on UX topics and then share them with you all in a (hopefully) more useful way for your daily design activities.
I wrote some reflections on various themes, spanning from finding jobs to design patterns, volunteering, and visual design. And I have a few more things in mind for next year’s posts.
Some ideas for 2024
I’ll finish up the Portfolio series I started last month, with Visuals Part 2 coming in early January;
I want to share some personal learnings working with developers and on creating UX for B2B;
I’d like to go back to my roots and share some practical psychology tips for designing interfaces;
Last but not least, I often get the question “How do I start a UX project properly?” - so I’d like to share the behind-the-scenes of the redesign of a product, which would be cool to do in a video format.
But now I’d like to hear from you!
If there is another topic you are interested in, comment below or reply to this email! Any feedback is helpful to me and highly appreciated 💘
New mentorship spots opening up in January
I’m opening a few spots right after the holidays on Mentorcruise - if upping your UX game is part of your 2024 goals, DM me on Linkedin and I’ll let you know as soon as they open up so you can get yours.
My best wishes to you for a successful 2024!
